Family: Chambers has a very considerable depth of up-to date specialist experience at all levels from the family proceedings court to the House of Lords, and a wide range of expertise and seniority in all aspects of family work, including child abduction, human rights, international children’s cases including relocation and conflicts of jurisdiction, forced marriage, adoption, care proceedings, (for parents, local authorities, and children’s guardians), wardship and private law children cases of all kinds, divorce, matrimonial finance, inheritance and family provision, and judicial review. Members of chambers have particular experience in representing children in a wide range of private and public law cases.

 

Immigration: Chambers provides a complete service in immigration work with particular experience and expertise in representing individual applicants and appellants from a wide range of cultures and countries and at all levels of case from first application to the House of Lords. Often the immigration and family expertise is combined in difficult and complex international children’s cases involving the human rights of the adults and children concerned.

 

Individual members of chambers also provide a service in related areas including probate and trusts, public law, employment personal injury crime and general civil.

 

Individual members of chambers also regularly write and lecture including internationally in the fields of their specialist expertise – chambers is accredited to provide Law Society CPD points for lectures and seminars.
