Accessibility

Renaissance Chambers and its Members intend to provide a service to all people, regardless of any conditions. To this end we have sought to make this website as accessible as possible in order to communicate with as many people as possible.

To achieve this we have assessed the specific needs of those with visual or physical impairments, learning difficulties and other forms of disability. In addition this means having an understanding of different browser technologies. This site has been produced to meet current best practice and guidelines.

Ease of use

We have made every effort to make this site accessible and easy to use for everyone, no matter what browser you choose to use, and whether or not you have any disabilities. All pages on this site use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).  To learn more about any of this, please contact the link below.

The site's layout takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse. It is fully compatible with popular screen reading software.

Increasing text size

Some users might find screen text easier to read by increasing the size at which text is displayed. To do this please use the text-size buttons found on the top-right of the header.

Disability Discrimination Act

All web sites that are owned by UK businesses need to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 - the DDA. The Act was introduced with the intention of comprehensively tackling the discrimination which many disabled people face. The part of the DDA that states websites must be made accessible came into force on 1 October 1999 and the Code of Practice for this section of the Act was published on 27 May 2002. As we are a business with an online presence it is important that we make you aware of this Act.
