Biography
Judith commenced practice in New Zealand in 1984 and is a dedicated Family law specialist having worked as an in-house Solicitor in Child Protection at a London Borough advising Social Services as to the law relating to children, both before and after the implementation of the Children Act 1989. She also advised the Authority on the elderly and Mental Health Act matters.
Experience
Judith has extensive experience of representing Local Authorities, parents and guardians at all levels of the Court system on s31 orders including complex cases involving non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and learning disability, s38(6) directions, Special Guardianship, secure accommodation, relevant authority disputes, Public Interest Immunity, adoption, placement and removal from the Jurisdiction.
