Biography
Margo is a specialist child law practitioner, regularly instructed by both high street and magic circle firms. Her practice includes care proceedings, Private law children and child death inquiries, both public and private.
She is ranked as a Leading Junior in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK directories to the Profession:

Experience
During her 20 years of practice and 8 years as a Judge, Margo has built up extensive experience in all types of children cases. This has been assisted by her years of policy work on children’s issues, including as the public law member of the Cafcass Board.
The majority of Margo’s practice is in the High Court and Principal Registry of the Family Division. It includes complex care proceedings involving non-accidental injury, acting for parents or children and Private law, intractable contact disputes and relocation cases. She has a particular interest in acting for older children who are separately represented.
Margo also has extensive Public Inquiry experience, having represented the parents of both Stephen Lawrence and Victoria Climbie in the year long inquiries dealing with the murders of their children.
