Biography

Ripon practises in all aspects of immigration law, specialising in cases involving asylum, human rights, entry clearance appeals, in-country immigration appeals, deportation, fresh claims, refusal to follow established policies, and cases involving curtailment of leave.  She regularly appears before the First Tier and Upper Tribunals, the Administrative Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.

Experience

Prior to qualifying for the Bar, Ripon worked at a firm of solicitors specialising in all types of immigration law. She understands and makes great efforts to assist her clients from all stages of an application through to the appellate process and her oral and written skills have led to successful outcomes at all levels.

Ripon is a professional, committed and organised practitioner. Her practical approach and down to earth manner have made her very popular with both instructing solicitors and lay clients.
