Biography

Sanaz specialises in immigration and human rights law representing appellants before the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First Tier and Upper Tribunals throughout the United Kingdom. Appeals undertaken include asylum, humanitarian protection, human rights, the Points Based System, spouses, dependant relatives, visitors, long residence, domestic violence, family reunion, deportation, EEA and bail applications.

Experience

After undertaking an internship at the UN High Commision for Refugees in London, Sanaz completed her pupillage at Renaissance and was taken on as a tenant in November 2002. After seven years at Renaissance, she decided to set up as a sole practitioner.  Sanaz returned to Chambers in October 2011 having missed the cut and thrust of Renaissance life.
