Description: Katy is a specialist family law practitioner who is building a practice encompassing all areas. Prior to completing pupillage in 2009, Katy practised as a solicitor specialising in family law in a highly regarded Legal 500 firm.
During pupillage, Katy gained considerable experience of international child abduction whilst working on several reported cases. She is familiar with both Hague and non-Hague cases, including Brussels II Revised and cases under the inherent jurisdiction. In ancillary relief, Katy has accepted instructions from the official solicitor. In care proceedings and private law, Katy represents local authorities, parents and children's guardians. She appears at all levels of court.
