Description: A renaissance woman, Margaret was previously a midwife and a scriptwriter for The Bill, Casualty and the Archers. Margaret acted in the important cases of Yogathas, Sivakumar and EM Lebanon in the House of Lords and HSMP Forum at the Administrative Court and WM v SSHD in the Court of Appeal. She is also editor of the Immigration Law Handbook which has been described as an ‘essential book to have’ by Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Law (and is well known as the most frequently stolen book from Hammicks!). Margaret is regularly instructed by local authorities and family solicitors to provide expert opinions on immigration and nationality law in a family context and is also a tribunal judge at the Asylum Support and Social Security Tribunals.
