Description: Julia has practised in immigration and human rights law for the last 10 years. Since becoming a tenant at Renaissance Chambers in 2001 she has also specialised in family law. Julia is often instructed in immigration cases where there are concurrent family law issues and vice versa. She regularly writes expert opinions on immigration law in a family context for both Local Authorities and parent or children solicitors. Julia is also regularly instructed in matters such as forced marriage, removals of children from the jurisdiction and international adoptions: all matters where immigration issues can easily arise.
